Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Eschentzwiller's Remi Laffitte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Dimitri Vaucher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eschentzwiller and the Peurye players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Dimitri Vaucher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peurye's Luka Le Port shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Franklin Landelle but with some difficulty. In the 10th minute of the match Eddy Russier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Cuvillier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Eschentzwiller's Danny Barou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronald Cuvillier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Eschentzwiller's Dimitri Vaucher got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peurye's goalkeeper Ronald Cuvillier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Danny Barou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eschentzwiller fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rene Maire hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ronald Cuvillier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Landier in the 28th minute of the match. Peurye's Ronald Cuvillier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remi Laffitte in the 29th minute of play. Dan Henaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Franklin Landelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peurye's Arthur Jauneau got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Dan Henaff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Landelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Jauneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Landelle having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Henaff in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Landelle saved Eschentzwiller from getting behind. When Remi Laffitte came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Eschentzwiller fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remi Laffitte couldn't finish the play. Ronald Cuvillier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danny Barou went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Henaff to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Dan Henaff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franklin Landelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephane Comby struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Franklin Landelle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peurye. After 61 played minutes Eschentzwiller got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Charles Landier. Peurye's Arthur Jauneau got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 66 in the game by Danny Barou from a close distance when the talented Ronald Cuvillier managed to make a qualified save. Peurye's players were relieved. When Dan Henaff fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peurye's protests and gave Dan Henaff a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Dan Henaff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danny Barou scored 0-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Cuvillier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Danny Barou notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Peurye's Ronald Cuvillier. Ronald Cuvillier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Henaff in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franklin Landelle saved Eschentzwiller from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Arthur Jauneau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franklin Landelle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Franklin Landelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Henaff, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Peurye booed when Eschentzwiller was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliott Lorthioir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Peurye got a corner. Eschentzwiller's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luka Le Port ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dan Henaff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eschentzwiller walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
