Alex Bascou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Gourmelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Avully's Emmanuel Rouyer made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Mahu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cesar Waechter's late challenge caught a Kerziou's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Waechter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Cesar Waechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Avully's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Liberge came free, but Alex Bascou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Liberge in the 34th minute of play forced Avully's goalkeeper Alex Bascou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yvan Berthonneau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Noel Mahu. Kerziou's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Quentin Gourmelen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Bascou having to interfere. In the 45th minute Emmanuel Rouyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Mahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Rouyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emmanuel Rouyer was the one to do the kick off. Mario Liberge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Bascou having to make a save. After having played for 54 minutes, Quentin Gourmelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerziou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Gourmelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Kerziou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Bachelier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeric Chalon in the 61st minute of play forced Kerziou's goalkeeper Noel Mahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Kerziou got a freekick which was hit by Eloi Guerinet. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerziou's goalkeeper Noel Mahu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Lorenzo Sellin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerziou and the Avully players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kerziou's Noel Mahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Rouyer in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emeric Chalon in the 67th minute of play forced Kerziou's goalkeeper Noel Mahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Mahu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emeric Chalon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Emmanuel Rouyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Noel Mahu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Emmanuel Rouyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Mahu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kerziou getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lorenzo Sellin hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Emmanuel Rouyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Kerziou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Mahu should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Avully had won after a very even match.
