Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romaric Taddei started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliott Merville in the 5th minute of play forced Frouard's goalkeeper Claude Guillois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliott Merville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Claude Guillois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliott Merville recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romaric Taddei in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samy Drouault prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Henri Fanget in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claude Guillois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pierre-Henri Fanget might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claude Guillois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre-Henri Fanget ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Betremieux hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Claude Guillois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Henri Fanget, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Romaric Taddei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frouard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romaric Taddei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claude Guillois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliott Merville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Frouard's Romaric Taddei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 42nd minute Romaric Taddei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samy Drouault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romaric Taddei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Frouard's goal looked a bit too open when Eliott Merville came free, but Claude Guillois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliott Merville made a kick off. Eliott Merville received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claude Guillois came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliott Merville slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, one of Frouard:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Frouard. Samy Drouault came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Frouard's Serge Comet. But to his dismay, Serge Comet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Claude Guillois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliott Merville, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match Jean-Marc Manet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samy Drouault showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Samy Drouault came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Frouard's Romaric Taddei. But to his dismay, Romaric Taddei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 87 minutes into the match, Frouard's goal looked a bit too open when Eliott Merville came free, but Claude Guillois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eliott Merville managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruges's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliott Merville was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claude Guillois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Frouard getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Serge Comet hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Frouard got a freekick which was hit by Joel Amador. Claude Guillois was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erwan Cazin. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bruges players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Frouard.
