The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Regis Surget kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henri Le Dorze. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Henri Le Dorze didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Henri Le Dorze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Surget in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cambes's Gabriel Lapierre got a free kick in the 26th minute. Gabriel Lapierre kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Ronald Boschet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Hautefeuille stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Boschet's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Henri Le Dorze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Surget in the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tristan Gamet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristan Gamet scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henri Le Dorze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Regis Surget was the one to do the kick off. Ronald Boschet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Richard Hautefeuille tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Thibaut Ameline managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yvette's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibaut Ameline was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Hautefeuille breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyprien Pioche charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cyprien Pioche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tristan Gamet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, Yvette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilan Icard to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Regis Surget in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henri Le Dorze saved Yvette from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, Yvette was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Franck to maneuver through the defense. Cambes's Regis Surget got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute Ronald Boschet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Hautefeuille saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibaut Ameline might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Hautefeuille. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thibaut Ameline ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Benoit Allix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Ronald Boschet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Richard Hautefeuille, passed just outside the right post. Ronald Boschet struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Richard Hautefeuille didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yvette. The supporters of Yvette booed when Cambes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprien Pioche didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92nd play minutes Thibaut Ameline shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Richard Hautefeuille and just under the crossbar into goal.
