Bernard Junique fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Tesniere having to interfere. Bernard Junique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastien Rebillard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Bob Jego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Viviers got a freekick which was hit by Dan Halter. 17 minutes into the match, Ragon's Gaetan Subra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwin Tesniere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gaetan Subra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederic Jacquinot hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Audouard during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 22 minutes, Bernard Junique managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ragon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Junique was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erwin Tesniere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Junique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Ragon defense, Frederic Jacquinot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Jego. The Ragon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Jego should have stopped the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bastien Rebillard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ragon's Bob Jego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Bernard Junique got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes Viviers got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Audureau. Gaetan Subra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Tesniere having to interfere. Gaetan Subra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Erwin Tesniere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Junique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Sebastien Genevieve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viviers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ragon the free kick. A collision led to Viviers getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Sebastien Genevieve hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Gilbert Cazeneuve fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viviers's protests and gave Gilbert Cazeneuve a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Gilbert Cazeneuve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederic Jacquinot hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Gaetan Subra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Lachaume hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Erwin Tesniere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herve Descombes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. If Gilbert Cazeneuve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Frederic Jacquinot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viviers's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederic Jacquinot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Jego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Gaetan Subra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erwin Tesniere. Gaetan Subra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 89 played minutes Viviers got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Rebillard. After 93 played minutes Gaetan Subra rounded Viviers's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3.
