Jeremy Bernier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Assie, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Jean-Philippe Perraudeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Piriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey Leandri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Bernier having to interfere. Jeremy Bernier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Leandri in the 30th minute of the match. The corner led Bourghelles's Andre Bourlon to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremy Bernier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jeremy Bernier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Assie, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Djibril Salvan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tresses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Djibril Salvan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean-Philippe Perraudeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bourghelles's zone, Alfred Samy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Piriou came out of the goal and Alfred Samy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Assie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Bernier having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Assie was the one to do the kick off. If Alfred Samy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Samy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Piriou having to interfere. Bourghelles's Joey Leandri got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Jean-Philippe Perraudeau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Piriou was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bourghelles's Michael Piriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Philippe Perraudeau in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Tresses getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Robin Dumur hit a great ball. Tresses's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
