Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samir Burnet to strike the kick off in the second half. When Romain Hunault came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Guesnain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romain Hunault couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romain Hunault got free with Jeremy Bernier in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Daryl Appere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romain Hunault who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Jeremy Bernier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Samy in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 80th minute Jean-Philippe Perraudeau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Jouy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Philippe Perraudeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Jouy having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Tresses players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
