Gustave Manteau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Gaude in the 7th minute of the match. If Jean-Charles Gaude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrières's Gustave Manteau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ferrières from getting a goal against them. The Ferrières fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustave Manteau should have stopped the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Charles Gaude was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Pouillaude got free with Stanislas Taillez in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes, Eliott Laffon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrières and the Terville players grew even worse after the yellow card.
