Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alex Bouillaud got the match started through his kick off. Felicien Marie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Couzeix:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Léguevin:s goal. The goalkeeper, Teddy Boulais, was totally fooled by Léguevin's Alexis Coulibaly, who 12 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Felicien Marie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gaetan Segala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul-Henri Larbi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alex Bouillaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teddy Boulais having to make a save. If Armand Janet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Felicien Marie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felicien Marie was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Couzeix's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Léguevin's zone, Karim Ryckebusch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaetan Segala came out of the goal and Karim Ryckebusch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felicien Marie came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Couzeix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felicien Marie couldn't finish the play. Felicien Marie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaetan Segala having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Karim Ryckebusch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Couzeix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Karim Ryckebusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gaetan Segala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Felicien Marie made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Couzeix were awarded a corner. Hugo Le Dain went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Hugo Le Dain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Léguevin's Gaetan Segala did a great save. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Felicien Marie sped through Léguevin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaetan Segala. Teddy Boulais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armand Janet in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Faustin Rougeron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Couzeix and the Léguevin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Faustin Rougeron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the game, Philibert Boulier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Couzeix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Léguevin the free kick. A collision led to Léguevin getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Davy Merlaud hit a great ball. Gaetan Segala was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Felicien Marie capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felicien Marie really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. With a little luck, Léguevin's Gaetan Segala got control of the ball when Karim Ryckebusch tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Bouillaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Couzeix's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
