Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joaquim Chaussinand kicked off to start the match. Dimitri Damas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Joaquim Chaussinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djimmy Cavallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caupian getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ferdinand Lacombe hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Caupian's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Chaussinand came free, but Djimmy Cavallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Caupian got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Jaillet. When Dimitri Damas came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Lanterne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitri Damas couldn't finish the play. Djimmy Cavallo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanterne's Joaquim Chaussinand. But to his dismay, Joaquim Chaussinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Ilan Perin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lanterne's Germain Desnoyers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Jaillet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Germain Desnoyers firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joaquim Chaussinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Lanterne's goal looked a bit too open when Ilan Perin came free, but Germain Desnoyers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilan Perin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Germain Desnoyers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilan Perin ran back to his position shaking his head. Germain Desnoyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilan Perin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Felix Le Duc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germain Desnoyers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilan Perin's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilan Perin to strike the kick off in the second half. Djimmy Cavallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Chaussinand in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Lanterne got a freekick which was hit by Djimmy Milesi. Jarod Chastel charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarod Chastel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caupian fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute Ilan Perin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Desnoyers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germain Desnoyers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilan Perin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Jaillet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Germain Desnoyers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lanterne's Fernand Burdin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caupian's goalkeeper Djimmy Cavallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdinand Lacombe's late challenge caught a Lanterne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Lacombe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Caupian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Lacombe to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Caupian got a freekick which was hit by Jarod Chastel. A collision led to Caupian getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Djibril Chancel hit a great ball. The Lanterne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lanterne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
