The referee ignored Pruney's protests and gave Jean-Philippe Peyronnet a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Michael Challier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chantenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Challier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renaud Chantreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Titouan Grandgirard, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Pruney's Titouan Grandgirard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renaud Chantreau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Michael Challier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Joaquim Fremont put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elias Faucheux. After 34 played minutes Pruney got a freekick which was hit by Gwendal Guidon. If Titouan Grandgirard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st match minute, Pruney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentin Ehrhard to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Chantenay got a corner. Pruney's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joe Gravier ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louison Belkacem was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Chantenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Weill to maneuver through the defense. When Pruney's Louison Belkacem in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 62nd minute, Joaquim Fremont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Faucheux was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 65th minute, Aziz Chaplain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michael Challier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elias Faucheux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pruney getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gabin Urbaniak hit a great ball. Joaquim Fremont scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Faucheux, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chantenay's Renaud Chantreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louison Belkacem in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Louison Belkacem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pruney's supporters rose to their feet, but Louison Belkacem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaud Chantreau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renaud Chantreau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louison Belkacem in the 86th minute of play. Renaud Chantreau had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Ghislain Arlot's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 3-2 came in the 90th minute when Ghislain Arlot all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Renaud Chantreau. Noureddine Kiefer charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noureddine Kiefer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Pruney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Kiefer to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Joe Gravier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chantenay were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pruney for a fine match.
