Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jose Rouby kicked off to start the match. Kevan Letombe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gaston Cornilleau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soucy's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaston Cornilleau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathys Dehay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jose Rouby came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Castillon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Rouby couldn't finish the play. If Geoffroy Lethuillier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathys Dehay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevan Letombe in the 22nd minute of play. Gaston Cornilleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Dehay having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Soucy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Garrec to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Corentin Betton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geoffroy Lethuillier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. John Demonchy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathys Dehay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Cornilleau in the 45th minute of play. Gauthier Bray's late challenge caught a Castillon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gauthier Bray helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Soucy got a freekick which was hit by Gauthier Bray.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevan Letombe made a kick off. Kevan Letombe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Dehay having to interfere. When Francois-Xavier Jung fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castillon's protests and gave Francois-Xavier Jung a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Castillon got a freekick which was hit by Francois-Xavier Jung. Geoffroy Lethuillier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gérald Haffner hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Castillon's Brice Jeulin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gaston Cornilleau was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jose Rouby hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Castillon's Geoffroy Lethuillier got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gaston Cornilleau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mathys Dehay made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Castillon's zone, Kevan Letombe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathys Dehay came out of the goal and Kevan Letombe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castillon's Mathys Dehay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Castillon from getting a goal against them. Geoffroy Lethuillier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Demonchy having to interfere. The Soucy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soucy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
