Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chris Pilet made the kick off and thus started the match. Pascal Ringot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gerald Tranchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marius Aucouturier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Chris Pilet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Silvestri was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Chris Pilet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Silvestri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 played minutes Elancourt got a freekick which was hit by Aime Raynaud. In the 23rd match minute, Elancourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Francois Melot to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match John Cailly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Silvestri skillfully saved the ball. Avulligoz's Rene Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Gauthe in the 28th minute of play. Michael Gauthe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Rene Silvestri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Pilet took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Silvestri. Rene Silvestri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Elancourt's Jean-Francois Melot got a free kick in the 35th minute. Gerald Tranchard made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Romuald Cuvillier sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avulligoz's goalkeeper Rene Silvestri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Chris Pilet notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Avulligoz's Rene Silvestri. Rene Silvestri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Elancourt getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Aime Raynaud hit a great ball. Marius Aucouturier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerald Tranchard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Avulligoz's Rene Silvestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Pilet in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Aucouturier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Elancourt got a freekick which was hit by Aime Raynaud. Gerald Tranchard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Ringot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerald Tranchard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Ringot, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Aime Raynaud was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Avulligoz booed when Elancourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aime Raynaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Avulligoz's Marius Aucouturier in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elancourt's goalie prevented a goal. Michael Gauthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Silvestri having to interfere. When Pascal Ringot came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Avulligoz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Ringot couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Marius Aucouturier made a precise shot to the right of Gerald Tranchard. Elancourt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Elancourt's Gerald Tranchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Aucouturier in the 91st minute of play. Pascal Ringot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Tranchard having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elancourt had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
