After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gregory Begon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loscoat's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregory Begon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Tranchard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Gauthe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Serge Le Gal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Pilet to strike the kick off in the second half. Jean-Paul Houssais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerald Tranchard having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Jean-Paul Houssais got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gregory Begon got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gerald Tranchard handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jean-Paul Houssais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Gerald Tranchard made a huge save. Serge Le Gal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Pilet in the 63rd minute of the match. Elancourt's Gerald Tranchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Begon in the 65th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Elancourt got a freekick which was hit by Jocelyn Becq. After taking down the ball on Loscoat's corner Sacha Metral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerald Tranchard quite easily take care of the ball. Jean-Paul Houssais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Gerald Tranchard made a huge save. Elancourt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
