Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luc Balay started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Carquefou's Alexis Firmin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Alexis Firmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teddy Cailleau having to interfere. Francis Souverain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Fortier having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Francis Souverain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wavrin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Souverain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Gras hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Wavrin's Francis Souverain got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Bornet in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Fortier saved Carquefou from getting behind. Joaquim Bornet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francis Souverain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Carquefou getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Benjamin Gras hit a great ball. Carquefou's Lucas Fortier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Bornet in the 36th minute of play. Lucas Fortier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Souverain in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luc Balay in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teddy Cailleau saved Wavrin from getting behind. 43 minutes into the game, Patrice Mazieres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wavrin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carquefou the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Bornet made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Wavrin got a freekick which was hit by Hector Pointeau. Benjamin Gras scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teddy Cailleau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 61 minutes, Luc Balay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carquefou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luc Balay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Fortier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Bornet in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Wavrin booed when Carquefou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Baptiste Verdy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carquefou's Lucas Fortier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Carquefou from getting a goal against them. Francis Souverain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teddy Cailleau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Balay in the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Jordan Mauvais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carquefou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wavrin the free kick. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carquefou! In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Wavrin. Faouzi Vogel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucas Fortier. 2-1. Luc Balay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Teddy Cailleau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy Cailleau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Balay in the 88th minute of the match. Alexis Firmin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Teddy Cailleau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carquefou. After 96th play minutes Alexis Firmin shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Teddy Cailleau and just under the crossbar into goal. Wavrin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
