Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmond Berge got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Bagard's Hugo Louchet got control of the ball when Jules Ramette tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bagard's Hugo Louchet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Risser in the 5th minute of play. Hugo Louchet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillaume Risser in the 8th minute of play. Philippe Chaigne kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Guillaume Risser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jules Ramette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Bagard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Bouche to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Pierre Sow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Fauvet in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Beaucouzé defense, Edmond Berge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pierre Sow. The Beaucouzé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pierre Sow should have stopped the shot. Beaucouzé's Jean-Pierre Sow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Berge in the 41st minute of play. Fernand Bouche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 49 minutes of play, Bagard's Moise Fauvet made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pierre Sow was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jules Ramette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Guillaume Risser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Louchet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Beaucouzé defense, Moise Fauvet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Pierre Sow. The Beaucouzé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Pierre Sow should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jules Ramette in the 66th minute of play forced Bagard's goalkeeper Hugo Louchet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Berge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Regis Derambure fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beaucouzé's protests and gave Regis Derambure a yellow card for diving instead. Edmond Berge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jean-Pierre Sow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Edmond Berge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Pierre Sow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Beaucouzé's zone, Edmond Berge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Pierre Sow came out of the goal and Edmond Berge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moise Fauvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Pierre Sow having to interfere. If Edmond Berge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyril Comtet kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Edmond Berge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bagard's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Berge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Pierre Sow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Bagard's Edmond Berge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Pierre Sow narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Regis Derambure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Pierre Sow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmond Berge in the 91st minute of play. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beaucouzé's goalkeeper Jean-Pierre Sow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bagard played a much better game than Beaucouzé and deserved their victory. The Beaucouzé players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
