Raphael Breard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 3 played minutes Fourchon got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Aucher. The supporters of Traouidan booed when Fourchon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Aucher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Breard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Breard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Francois Boubet having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Breard in the 25th minute of play forced Fourchon's goalkeeper Jean-Francois Boubet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Francois Boubet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raphael Breard's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jolan Mendez during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute Raphael Breard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Francois Boubet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspard Bender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Francois Boubet having to interfere. Jean-Marie Cuvellier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Auguste Milin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Marandon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Traouidan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Viart to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Breard made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Jean-Marie Cuvellier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fourchon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Marie Cuvellier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serge Guedes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Auguste Milin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fourchon. In the 59th match minute, Traouidan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Viart to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fourchon's zone, Raphael Breard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Francois Boubet came out of the goal and Raphael Breard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Fourchon getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jolan Mendez hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Steven Cailleau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Francois Boubet skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Serge Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Auguste Milin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Fourchon's Jacob Desprez got a free kick in the 69th minute. Fourchon's Jean-Francois Boubet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Breard in the 72nd minute of play. Jean-Marie Cuvellier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Fourchon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Raphael Breard struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. When Hugues Roudier fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fourchon's protests and gave Hugues Roudier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, one of Fourchon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fourchon. Steven Cailleau walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 90 minutes, Serge Guedes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Traouidan's Auguste Milin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Auguste Milin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
