Hocine Williams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joseph Compan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hocine Williams prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph Compan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hocine Williams having to interfere. In the 24th minute Daryl Mayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hocine Williams saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hocine Williams took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daryl Mayer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cergy booed when Morey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastien Bonneton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fabian Cornette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigue Nollet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Brenner having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daryl Mayer made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Romuald Liotard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hocine Williams was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Morey's Rodrigue Nollet in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cergy's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Romuald Liotard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hocine Williams was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daryl Mayer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. Hocine Williams made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Joseph Compan sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute, Rodrigue Nollet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Brenner was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Hocine Williams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Joseph Compan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hocine Williams showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Mayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Rodrigue Nollet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Erwin Brenner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Cornette came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Morey fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Cornette couldn't finish the play.
