After 3 minutes, Mathys Sirot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morey and the Reyrieux players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dilan Allain, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Ludovic Aveline cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hocine Williams was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lionel Le Lann's late challenge caught a Morey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lionel Le Lann helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Le Lann. Fabian Cornette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romuald Thiel having to interfere. If Ludovic Aveline had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romuald Thiel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigue Nollet went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Morey's Rodrigue Nollet in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reyrieux's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Reyrieux's Ludovic Aveline sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hocine Williams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reyrieux's Romuald Thiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Nollet in the 39th minute of play. Rodrigue Nollet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romuald Thiel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Cornette in the 43rd minute of play forced Reyrieux's goalkeeper Romuald Thiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludovic Aveline was the one to do the kick off. Ludovic Aveline received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hocine Williams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romuald Thiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Cornette in the 59th minute of play. Hocine Williams showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludovic Aveline in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Morey's goal looked a bit too open when Ludovic Aveline came free, but Hocine Williams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mathys Sirot was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. After 64 played minutes Morey got a freekick which was hit by Mathys Sirot. With 68 minutes on the clock, Terry Farges commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morey fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Reyrieux. Dilan Allain stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hocine Williams. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Delplace during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hocine Williams went to the wrong direction when Dilan Allain was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Reyrieux's Ludovic Aveline sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hocine Williams narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerard Wallet struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Hocine Williams didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reyrieux. Morey's Hocine Williams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludovic Aveline in the 93rd minute of play. When Reyrieux's Gerard Wallet in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morey's goalie prevented a goal. Anthony Dragon kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
