Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berenger Le Brun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lucien Gascon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berenger Le Brun in the 3rd minute of play. Lucien Gascon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Berenger Le Brun's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Germain Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morinais's Lucien Gascon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berenger Le Brun in the 10th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Berenger Le Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morinais's Lucien Gascon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Saran's Berenger Le Brun in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morinais's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Benoît Cabrol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morinais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saran the free kick. Benoît Cabrol hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Ramzy Gaste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramzy Gaste got free with Dorian Paumard in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Germain Maillard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saran's supporters rose to their feet, but Germain Maillard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Gascon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germain Maillard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Berenger Le Brun made a precise shot to the right of Lucien Gascon. Morinais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 36th minute of the match Samuel Ponce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucien Gascon skillfully saved the ball. Mario Frachon's late challenge caught a Saran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Frachon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Morinais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Frachon to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Morinais's Florent Cauchois sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Paumard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Samuel Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michaël Courte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorian Paumard. Saran's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Lucien Gascon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brice Fauquet in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ramzy Gaste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Paumard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 59th match minute, Morinais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kylian Telliez to maneuver through the defense. Dorian Paumard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramzy Gaste in the 63rd minute of play. With a little luck, Morinais's Lucien Gascon got control of the ball when Bastien Dif tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Mario Frachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germain Maillard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucien Gascon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Ramzy Gaste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morinais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramzy Gaste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berenger Le Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Gascon having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
