Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Danny Protat kicked off to start the match. If Thibault Israel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Thibault Israel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bischwihr's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibault Israel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Philippe Bardet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute Samuel Granger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Philippe Bardet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Paris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Protat to maneuver through the defense. Thibault Israel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Philippe Bardet having to interfere. Bischwihr's Samuel Granger got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxence Bourrelly hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Danny Protat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Deal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paris's zone, Samuel Granger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Philippe Bardet came out of the goal and Samuel Granger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Paris's Felicien Leseigneur got a free kick in the 29th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Bischwihr's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Protat came free, but Renaud Deal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bischwihr booed when Paris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Lecerf didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thibault Israel in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Philippe Bardet saved Paris from getting behind. 1-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Danny Protat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jean-Philippe Bardet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Israel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A collision led to Paris getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Prosper Nicod hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thibault Israel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jean-Philippe Bardet. That made the score 1-2 in the 69 minute of play. Renan Lecerf charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Lecerf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Samuel Granger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean-Marie Lebeau kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Theophile Raux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaud Deal having to interfere. If Theophile Raux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bischwihr eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
