Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Constantin Desclaux started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thibaut Montagnon in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luc Desvaux prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Matheo Helaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Walter Bonnot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Canevet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Besnier kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Vernaison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheo Helaine to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Thibaut Montagnon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luc Desvaux. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Hanquez got free with Luc Desvaux in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Thibaut Montagnon came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Vernaison fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thibaut Montagnon couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Gimeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Darricau to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Guillaume Darricau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Canevet having to interfere. If Ronald Hanquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thibaut Montagnon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Desvaux having to make a save. Guillaume Darricau kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Bastien Carlot kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Gimeaux's goal looked a bit too open when Thibaut Montagnon came free, but Luc Desvaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Desvaux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Hanquez went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Gimeaux's Constantin Desclaux got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute, Walter Bonnot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimeaux fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Constantin Desclaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Vernaison:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gimeaux:s goal. Charles-Henri Laye placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Vernaison's Alfred Canevet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantin Desclaux in the 90th minute of play. Ronald Hanquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luc Desvaux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thibaut Montagnon went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vernaison were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gimeaux for a fine match.
