Emile Pigeard in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilles Breard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Charles-Henri Duville struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gilles Breard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frouard. After having played for 16 minutes, Emile Pigeard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frouard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emile Pigeard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles-Henri Duville struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gilles Breard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frouard. In the 18th minute, Corentin Bulle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emile Pigeard struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. The supporters of Frouard booed when Guînes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Sophie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles-Henri Duville made a kick off. Bernard De Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivier Degrave in the 62nd minute of the match. Emile Pigeard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Breard having to interfere. If Olivier Degrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Frouard defense, Steve Havard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard De Castro. The Frouard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard De Castro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Guînes getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Corentin Caparros hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guînes's Corentin Caparros got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Frouard's Bernard De Castro got control of the ball when Steve Havard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frouard's Bernard De Castro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Frouard from getting a goal against them. Isaac Bellamy kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Olivier Degrave reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernard De Castro. The goal made the score 1-2. The Guînes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guînes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
