Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Boisse's Arnaud Perard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yann Bonneaud charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yann Bonneaud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marius Labrousse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaud Perard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Daguin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes, Verville's Pierre-Antoine Polet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tommy Quere came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Verville reached it. A collision led to Boisse getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Martin Daguin hit a great ball. The supporters of Verville booed when Boisse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Thoraval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georges Cortial received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Tommy Quere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Georges Cortial had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre-Olivier Fosse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Quere having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Verville's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaud Perard came free, but Marius Labrousse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edouard Bieber hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Arnaud Perard fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marius Labrousse, passed just outside the right post. In the 24th minute Arnaud Perard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Labrousse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaud Perard in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Labrousse saved Verville from getting behind. After 28 minutes of play, Verville's Georges Cortial made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Quere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octave Potier kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pierre-Olivier Fosse during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Verville got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Olivier Fosse. Martin Daguin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Georges Cortial managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verville's supporters rose to their feet, but Georges Cortial was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Quere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, Boris Thoraval was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boisse's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Verville the free kick. A collision led to Boisse getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Boris Thoraval hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Georges Cortial made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Quere. Boisse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georges Cortial to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Arnaud Perard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Labrousse was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Brandon Bodart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre-Antoine Polet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Verville fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Brandon Bodart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Labrousse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaud Perard, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 78th minute, but Tommy Quere got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Boisse hanging dry this time. If Brandon Bodart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Arnaud Perard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boisse's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaud Perard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Labrousse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Verville got a freekick which was hit by Baptiste Riffault. 84 minutes into the match, Boris Thoraval had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marius Labrousse. Verville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Thoraval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Arnaud Perard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Brandon Bodart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Verville walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
