Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Lourches's Eymeric Houard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augustin Salin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Cortial in the 3rd minute of the match. Georges Cortial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Pierre-Olivier Fosse notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lourches's Augustin Salin. Augustin Salin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute of the match Pierre-Antoine Polet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augustin Salin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lourches's Augustin Salin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Cortial in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lourches's zone, Pierre-Olivier Fosse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Salin came out of the goal and Pierre-Olivier Fosse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Yann Bonneaud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre-Olivier Fosse in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Salin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augustin Salin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Cortial in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Cortial in the 35th minute of play forced Lourches's goalkeeper Augustin Salin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Labrousse made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Pierrick Chambonnet sent off a good shot on target. Pierrick Chambonnet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Labrousse having to interfere. The supporters of Lourches booed when Verville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baptiste Riffault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Verville's Marius Labrousse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Verville from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute Georges Cortial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Salin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Georges Cortial made the kick off in the second half. After 62 played minutes Verville got a freekick which was hit by Yann Bonneaud. The supporters of Lourches booed when Verville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Potier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre-Olivier Fosse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Salin having to interfere. Verville's Georges Cortial got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Pierrick Chambonnet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lourches fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Verville booed when Lourches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederic Lombardi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
