After 52 played minutes, Ancoisne's Jacques Loustalot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valentin Lienhardt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ancoisne reached it. In the 55th minute Jean-Paul Dutrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Lienhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joris Fargeas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitri Pagnon having to interfere. The Ancoisne supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Grabels's performance. The match ended with a win for Grabels.
