Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guy Rabu started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Deulemont getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Stanislas Coulombel hit a great ball. Zinedine Evanno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guy Rabu's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Zinedine Evanno came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Bompas's Igor Massin. But to his dismay, Igor Massin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Guy Rabu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Deulemont's Guy Baly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamin Mathy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Deulemont booed when Bompas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathan May didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guy Baly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mathy having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Baly got free with Benjamin Mathy in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Bompas's Ghislain Tache got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Edgard Bouillot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Mathy. The goal made the score 1-1. 34 minutes in the game, Edgard Bouillot dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Bompas's Benjamin Mathy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Bouillot in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Deulemont's goalkeeper Zinedine Evanno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Edgard Bouillot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deulemont's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgard Bouillot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Mathy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Guy Rabu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Bouillot was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Bompas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Taillez to maneuver through the defense. Deulemont's Stanislas Coulombel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamin Mathy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Guy Baly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Deulemont got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Seys. 65 minutes into the game, Guy Rabu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bompas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deulemont the free kick. Guy Rabu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Guy Baly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ghislain Tache got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Benjamin Mathy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guy Baly went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Benjamin Mathy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Bouillot in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Deulemont's goalkeeper Zinedine Evanno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Massin. A collision led to Deulemont getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Baptiste Dausse hit a great ball. When Igor Massin came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bompas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Massin couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Deulemont's zone, Igor Massin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zinedine Evanno came out of the goal and Igor Massin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Deulemont's goalkeeper Zinedine Evanno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Massin. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deulemont fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bompas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
