An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Penicaud in the 5th minute of play forced Perruche's goalkeeper Tony Ducher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Jean-Baptiste Coignet notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Perruche's Tony Ducher. Tony Ducher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Guy Penicaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The tension between the Perruche and the Carnetin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hippolyte Vandamme charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hippolyte Vandamme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Djimmy Beltran fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perruche's protests and gave Djimmy Beltran a yellow card for diving instead. Djimmy Beltran hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Carnetin's Hippolyte Vandamme got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Hippolyte Vandamme off the ground. After 28 played minutes Carnetin got a freekick which was hit by Hippolyte Vandamme. If Xavier Reutenauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Xavier Reutenauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Pierrick Le Duff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alban Ledoux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierrick Le Duff having to interfere. In the last second Pierrick Le Duff throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alban Ledoux in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pierrick Le Duff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alban Ledoux, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Xavier Reutenauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Pierrick Le Duff made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Carnetin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Penicaud to maneuver through the defense. Carnetin's Pierrick Le Duff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alban Ledoux in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Xavier Reutenauer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pierrick Le Duff. The goal made the score 1-1. Alban Ledoux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierrick Le Duff having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Carnetin got a freekick which was hit by Joel Soule. Carnetin's Jean-Baptiste Coignet got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Perruche got a freekick which was hit by Djimmy Beltran. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
