Dave Saurel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephane Bouvard in the 4th minute of play. Béchanne's Antony Jacquey got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antony Jacquey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Saurel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonin Lacouture got free with Stanislas Ferchaud in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Antonin Lacouture had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislas Ferchaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gérald Drevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antony Jacquey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Saurel having to interfere. Erwann Ducruet hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, Béchanne's Stephane Bouvard made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dave Saurel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chavigny's goalkeeper Dave Saurel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Chavigny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Jollivet to maneuver through the defense. Dave Saurel came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Béchanne's Antony Jacquey. But to his dismay, Antony Jacquey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Chavigny's Dave Saurel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephane Bouvard in the 38th minute of play. If Antony Jacquey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Saurel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephane Bouvard in the 43rd minute of the match. Chavigny's Dave Saurel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephane Bouvard in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gérald Drevon to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Béchanne got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Wolff. When Fabrice Émonet came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chavigny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrice Émonet couldn't finish the play. Dave Saurel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Jacquey in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Stephane Bouvard could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Dave Saurel however easily saved by the left post. Antonin Lacouture sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Antonin Lacouture's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislas Ferchaud was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Dave Saurel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Jacquey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stephane Bouvard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dave Saurel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stephane Bouvard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean-Philippe Rumeau hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A hard shot 87 in the game by Stephane Bouvard from a close distance when the talented Dave Saurel managed to make a qualified save. Chavigny's players were relieved. 91 minutes into the match, Stephane Bouvard notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Chavigny's Dave Saurel. Dave Saurel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stanislas Ferchaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonin Lacouture in the 96th minute of play. The Béchanne players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
