Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th match minute, Beaubreuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Blum to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Beaubreuil's zone, Justin Maussion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolphe Bœuf came out of the goal and Justin Maussion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Youri Mounier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Damien Devidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Chatard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Maussion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Youri Mounier struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Damien Devidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaubreuil. After 17 minutes, Merlin Warembourg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beaubreuil and the Nieul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nieul booed when Beaubreuil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Warembourg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolphe Bœuf came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Nieul's Freddy Chatard. But to his dismay, Freddy Chatard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rodolphe Bœuf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Maussion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beaubreuil's Patrick Mechain was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 32 played minutes Beaubreuil got a freekick which was hit by Théodore Briez. Rodolphe Bœuf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Chatard in the 35th minute of the match. Youri Mounier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Mechain was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Théodore Briez during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Maussion was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Théodore Briez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Devidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nieul's Justin Maussion in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beaubreuil's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Rodolphe Bœuf successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rodolphe Bœuf came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Nieul's Freddy Chatard. But to his dismay, Freddy Chatard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rodolphe Bœuf made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Freddy Chatard sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin Maussion in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolphe Bœuf saved Beaubreuil from getting behind. Damien Devidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Mounier in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Patrick Mechain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Mechain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Damien Devidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Devidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Mechain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
