Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bernard Victor made the kick off and thus started the match. After 6 played minutes Nieul got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Michel Gilles. A collision led to Houilles getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Florent Gervais hit a great ball. Freddy Chatard struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Boris Wallerand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nieul. The long shot by Jean Sagnes in the 20th minute really tested Boris Wallerand's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jonas Fremeaux's late challenge caught a Houilles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Fremeaux helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Houilles booed when Nieul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Fremeaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Houilles's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Maussion came free, but Boris Wallerand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Damien Devidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Houilles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florent Gervais in the 36th minute. It was a well-played corner which Benoit Ferraro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonas Fremeaux kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Bruno Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Damien Devidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Riva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damien Devidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Maussion was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Houilles's zone, Freddy Chatard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Wallerand came out of the goal and Freddy Chatard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boris Wallerand didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nieul's Justin Maussion shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Freddy Chatard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Boris Wallerand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Florent Gervais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Houilles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nieul the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Houilles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Nieul. Pacome Doucet stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boris Wallerand. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Freddy Chatard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieul's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Chatard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Wallerand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Chatard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Houilles's Christophe Le Coq got a free kick in the 75th minute. Bruno Riva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Houilles's Bernard Victor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damien Devidal. Damien Devidal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 89 minutes into the game, one of Houilles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Nieul. Pacome Doucet stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boris Wallerand. 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nieul fans cheered their team off the field, for while Houilles had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
