The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louison Letessier during the 3rd minute. Dylan Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Duval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damien Devidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Jean-Charles Pol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Chatard, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. If Freddy Chatard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bléville's Jean-Charles Pol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Bléville from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Freddy Chatard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieul's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Chatard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Charles Pol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Justin Maussion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Bléville's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Chatard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 42 minutes into the game, Louis Duval cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Damien Devidal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dylan Gimenez to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nieul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remi Geyer was slow to take the kick. During this time Bléville's players had a chance to rest. In the 55th minute Dylan Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Devidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nieul's Damien Devidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Gimenez in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Dylan Gimenez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damien Devidal. The goal made the score 1-2. 67 minutes into the game, Freddy Chatard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jean-Charles Pol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Nieul's goalkeeper Damien Devidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Louis Duval. Louis Duval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Damien Devidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Nieul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Fremeaux to maneuver through the defense.
