Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitri Gille started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Theo Lefeuvre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Thierry Perin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Machevaz got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Perin. 19 minutes into the match, Caen's Faustin Gamet broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Caen's Theo Lefeuvre in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Machevaz's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute, Pierre-Antoine Hamard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Dimitri Gille shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eymeric Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Tristan Jonas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Caen's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Gille came free, but Eymeric Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Laigneau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caen's Eymeric Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Antoine Hamard in the 44th minute of play. Eymeric Pere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitri Gille in the 46th minute of the match. Danny Laigneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Larrieu made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Theo Lefeuvre sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

2-2 came through a penalty shot after 69 played minutes, when Machevaz:s Jean-Marc Henrion calmly waited for Caen:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Daniel Larrieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Lefeuvre, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Tristan Jonas charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tristan Jonas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caen getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tristan Jonas hit a great ball. Eymeric Pere was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jean-Marc Henrion. Caen's Eymeric Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Caen from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitri Gille in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eymeric Pere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
