Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonathan Ducos got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Houilles booed when Etrembières was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Castel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Caille received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hubert Haas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berenger Avignon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Honoré Guinot made a huge save. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Houilles's goalkeeper Hubert Haas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Etrembières's goalkeeper Honoré Guinot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Ferreol. If Brian Caille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Caille scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Haas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Etrembières was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaétan Duveau to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Etrembières's zone, Berenger Avignon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honoré Guinot came out of the goal and Berenger Avignon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Gaétan Duveau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jean-Francois Chelle missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Honoré Guinot right hand side. Jonathan Ducos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Honoré Guinot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albert Barthomeuf made a kick off. Berenger Avignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honoré Guinot having to interfere. Brian Caille could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hubert Haas made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Marco Castel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Etrembières's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Houilles the free kick. After a rather tough play, Etrembières's Marco Castel got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 72nd minute, one of Etrembières:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Etrembières. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Houilles. Jean-Francois Chelle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honoré Guinot. 1-1. Albert Barthomeuf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hubert Haas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Caille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Haas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Berenger Avignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etrembières's Albert Barthomeuf got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaétan Duveau hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Houilles got a corner. Etrembières's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jean-Francois Chelle ran over to the corner to take the kick. Houilles's Jonathan Ducos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Honoré Guinot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 96th minute, Jonathan Ducos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honoré Guinot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Etrembières's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
