Karl Deleu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Devin in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ferté's Melvin Giard got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Salome's goal looked a bit too open when Melvin Giard came free, but Karl Deleu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Devin in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Deleu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jules Jourda charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jules Jourda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Salome was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Jourda to maneuver through the defense. Albert Loubere might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Deleu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Loubere ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes, Etienne Sanchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salome and the Ferté players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Salome getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Etienne Sanchez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Loubere in the 19th minute of play forced Salome's goalkeeper Karl Deleu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Ferté got a corner. Salome's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Germain Bultel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Germain Bultel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Salome's Karl Deleu did a great save. In the 22nd minute, Chris Devin made a precise shot to the right of Karl Deleu. Salome's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Loic Payet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barthelemy Auger. Ferté's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loic Payet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Loic Payet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferté's goalkeeper Barthelemy Auger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barthelemy Auger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Guillotte in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Ferté getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Karim Pellier hit a great ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moise Guillotte made a kick off. Salome's Karl Deleu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Devin in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Salome's Malik Verite got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Salome's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albert Loubere fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ferté's Barthelemy Auger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loic Payet in the 65th minute of play. If Loic Payet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Devin in the 69th minute of play forced Salome's goalkeeper Karl Deleu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Deleu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 70th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Germain Bultel. Moise Guillotte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Auger having to interfere. Karim Pellier hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Moise Guillotte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salome's Karl Deleu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Devin in the 79th minute of play. Karl Deleu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Devin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Barthelemy Auger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Guillotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Malik Verite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Loubere got free with Karl Deleu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 94th minute of the match Jules Jourda completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jules Jourda a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th match minute, Salome was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jules Jourda to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ferté walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
