Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Côme Riquet got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Achille Lecointe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georges Réa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herblay's Youri Busch got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerald Wadoux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Côme Riquet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Achille Lecointe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georges Réa came out of the goal and Achille Lecointe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Richemont's goal looked a bit too open when Côme Riquet came free, but Gerald Wadoux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Richemont's Louison Baumann got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Côme Riquet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Youri Busch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Wadoux having to interfere. Richemont's Gerald Wadoux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Busch in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Côme Riquet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Côme Riquet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Louison Baumann charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Louison Baumann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Louison Baumann kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Ibrahim Camilleri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerald Wadoux showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Achille Lecointe came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Richemont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Lecointe couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute of the game, Jean-Marie Chevron landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Youri Busch's late challenge caught a Richemont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Youri Busch helped the player get up and apologised. Youri Busch kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Naud during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Richemont booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Naud didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Charles Danion sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Herblay's Georges Réa didn't even have to move. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremy Taieb was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Pierre-Louis Coquelin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herblay's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre-Louis Coquelin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerald Wadoux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ibrahim Camilleri hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jeremy Taieb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Georges Réa having to make a save. Gerald Wadoux came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Youri Busch. But to his dismay, Youri Busch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Richemont's Gerald Wadoux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Richemont from getting a goal against them. In the 68th minute of the match, Youri Busch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerald Wadoux was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Louison Baumann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Georges Réa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremy Taieb in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georges Réa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Youri Busch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Côme Riquet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Youri Busch got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Jeremy Taieb came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Richemont fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Taieb couldn't finish the play. Richemont's Gerald Wadoux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Côme Riquet in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Herblay booed when Richemont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louison Baumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Richemont supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Herblay's performance. The match ended with a win for Herblay.
