Robert Anger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remi Tauzin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 11 minutes into the game, Holtzwihr's Ahmid Loison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Anger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Boyer in the 14th minute of play forced Holtzwihr's goalkeeper Donovan Bourgeois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Gauthier Boyer made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Holtzwihr's Donovan Bourgeois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Anger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remi Tauzin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remi Tauzin to make the kick off. Robert Anger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmid Loison in the 52nd minute of play. Remi Tauzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gauthier Boyer kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Ahmid Loison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Anger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chanteloup's Jacques Falempin got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ahmid Loison took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Anger. Robert Anger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Dylan Manceau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donovan Bourgeois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dylan Manceau came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Chanteloup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Manceau couldn't finish the play. Chanteloup's Gael Deprez pulled a muscle in his leg after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hector Voisin's late challenge caught a Chanteloup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Voisin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Holtzwihr's Hector Voisin got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ahmid Loison scored 3-3 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Anger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, Holtzwihr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Voisin to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Holtzwihr got a freekick which was hit by Eymeric Guibout. When Ahmid Loison came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Holtzwihr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmid Loison couldn't finish the play. Holtzwihr were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
