Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clement Perbet got the match started through his kick off. Arnaud Le Mee's late challenge caught a Châteaurenard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Le Mee helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Châteaurenard booed when Traouidan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaud Le Mee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaetan Diawara's shot from long distance in the 4th minute was not bad at all, but Traouidan's Steve Lagier knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After having played for 12 minutes, Jean Lorent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Châteaurenard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Lorent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alix Compere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serge Meslin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Serge Meslin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alix Compere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alix Compere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serge Meslin in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Châteaurenard's Basile Vanhoutte got a free kick in the 21st minute. Serge Meslin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Alix Compere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Lorent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Steve Lagier made a huge save. Clement Perbet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Steve Lagier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clement Perbet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Traouidan's goalkeeper Steve Lagier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Morelle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Steve Lagier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alix Compere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Vaillant in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Traouidan booed when Châteaurenard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Morelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Traouidan's Paul Antigny couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Châteaurenard. When Châteaurenard's Jean Lorent in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Traouidan's goalie prevented a goal. Clement Perbet got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Steve Lagier handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Sidney Vaillant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alix Compere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octave Biet charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octave Biet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes Traouidan got a freekick which was hit by Octave Biet. In the 85th minute, Sidney Vaillant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Clement Perbet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve Lagier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Châteaurenard's Alix Compere got control of the ball when Serge Meslin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steve Lagier came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Châteaurenard's Clement Perbet. But to his dismay, Clement Perbet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.
