Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luc Convert kicked off to start the match. Bastien Neveu charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastien Neveu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rouet booed when Fontenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastien Neveu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Rouet's Tanguy Bernhard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Cassier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rouet reached it. 7 minutes into the match, Rouet's goal looked a bit too open when Luc Convert came free, but Alphonse Magnon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fontenay's Luc Convert was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Justin Forestier scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrick Cassier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Rouet's Alphonse Magnon got control of the ball when Fabien Thiry tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Quentin Vaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rouet's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Vaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Cassier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabien Thiry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Rouet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabien Thiry fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Quentin Godard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fontenay's goalkeeper Patrick Cassier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Bastien Neveu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rouet's Justin Forestier got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Forestier was the one to do the kick off. Quentin Vaux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes, Fontenay's Moise Fallet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alphonse Magnon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fontenay reached it. The supporters of Fontenay booed when Rouet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Lecornu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Luc Convert put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alphonse Magnon. Rouet's Alphonse Magnon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Convert in the 71st minute of play. When Fabien Thiry fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fontenay's protests and gave Fabien Thiry a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Fabien Thiry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 76 minutes, Quentin Vaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rouet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Vaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Fabien Thiry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute Luc Convert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alphonse Magnon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Quentin Godard during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fabien Thiry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fontenay's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabien Thiry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alphonse Magnon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fontenay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rouet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
