Clapiers's Vincent Begue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Clapiers from getting a goal against them. If Eddy Barnier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Simonot having to interfere. Honore Procureur kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincent Perronnet got free with Vincent Begue in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Montevrain booed when Clapiers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Charles Labaune didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honore Procureur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vincent Begue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Eddy Barnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Simonot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Montevrain got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Machado. After 37 minutes, Jean-Charles Labaune mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clapiers and the Montevrain players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jean-Charles Labaune kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, Montevrain's Isaac Pietri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincent Begue came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevrain reached it. Honore Procureur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Begue having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Martins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Eddy Barnier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Honore Procureur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Vincent Begue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Barnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honore Procureur in the 89th minute of play forced Clapiers's goalkeeper Vincent Begue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Begue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Perronnet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montevrain's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
