Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Martial Boisnard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Edgard Larcher stood somewhat misplaced when Oscar Caminade came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 7 minute. After 10 played minutes Recueil got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Bonnafous. When Guitrancourt's Patrick Drapeau in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Recueil's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th match minute, Recueil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvain Perrochon to maneuver through the defense. Guitrancourt's Patrick Drapeau managed to work through Recueil's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Patrick Drapeau dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Recueil's Harry Morand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Drapeau in the 22nd minute of play. Patrick Drapeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Harry Morand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Martial Boisnard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Guitrancourt getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Pierrick Rondel hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Drapeau to make the kick off.
