When Alexandre Mignard came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pfulgriesheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Mignard couldn't finish the play. Roger Tailliez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Wurtz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Viroflay's Tanguy Sarret got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eliott Jacquier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cedric Afonso. If Alexandre Mignard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christophe Lebois kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Eliott Jacquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Morelle in the 41st minute of the match. Alexandre Mignard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Morelle to strike the kick off in the second half. Emilien Danel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Roger Wurtz made a huge save. Alexandre Mignard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Eliott Jacquier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliott Jacquier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Mignard in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Pfulgriesheim getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliott Jacquier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Mignard in the 72nd minute of the match. Gaston Morelle hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of Viroflay booed when Pfulgriesheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Foulonneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Roger Tailliez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pfulgriesheim's Roger Wurtz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 played minutes, Pfulgriesheim's Bixente Merrien shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eliott Jacquier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pfulgriesheim reached it. If Alexandre Mignard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
