After 13 played minutes Faudel Guillaume rounded Franconville's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Malcom Hellegouarch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Candelier's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Malcom Hellegouarch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Marc Travers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franconville's Alfred Gillon got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malcom Hellegouarch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Candelier, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Candelier in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcom Hellegouarch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Godeau hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ernest Bret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Gillon in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roland Candelier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Franconville's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Marc Travers came free, but Malcom Hellegouarch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Jean-Marc Travers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcom Hellegouarch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franconville's Alfred Gillon got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Franconville's Régis Cogne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernest Bret. Ernest Bret yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 80th match minute, Franconville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kilian Missonnier to maneuver through the defense. Roland Candelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Malcom Hellegouarch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Roland Candelier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcom Hellegouarch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Franconville's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Candelier came free, but Malcom Hellegouarch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Franconville's Régis Cogne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Bret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Biot's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
