Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joel Boissiere started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Noe Druesne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronald Body having to make a save. After 10 played minutes, Geneuille's Patrick Edon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Body came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geneuille reached it. If Noe Druesne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Quiévrechain got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Allard. Djimmy Migot kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Quiévrechain getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Andre Grondin hit a great ball. Clement Queguiner charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clement Queguiner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Quiévrechain got a freekick which was hit by Clement Queguiner. Ronald Body made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noe Druesne in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes, Geneuille's Jules Brown shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Body came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geneuille reached it. Guillaume Brossier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ronald Body tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Geneuille's Noe Druesne got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Christophe Jobert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Guillaume Brossier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geneuille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Geneuille were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noe Druesne to strike the kick off in the second half. Geneuille's Sylvain Desmedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Boissiere in the 54th minute of play. Sylvain Desmedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Boissiere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Joel Boissiere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quiévrechain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Quiévrechain getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Noel Marc hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute, Noel Marc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Geneuille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jocelyn Aparicio to maneuver through the defense. Christophe Jobert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Desmedt having to interfere. Sylvain Desmedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Boissiere in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Marcel Azam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geneuille's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiévrechain the free kick. A collision led to Geneuille getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcel Azam hit a great ball. The supporters of Quiévrechain booed when Geneuille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Azam didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Joel Boissiere made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Geneuille's Sylvain Desmedt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Quiévrechain's Ronald Body proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Quiévrechain from getting a goal against them. If Noe Druesne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillaume Brossier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ronald Body tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillaume Brossier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quiévrechain's Ronald Body proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Quiévrechain from getting a goal against them. Quiévrechain were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Geneuille for a fine match.
