Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mathias Cassan made the kick off which started today's match. Jerome Debuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Désiré Audrain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Willy Cherifi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herbert Loussouarn. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Gérardcourt's Désiré Audrain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Debuire in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Yazid Amar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Vernaison's Edmond Miquel got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Gérardcourt's Abdel Goulard tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alain Saint-Martin in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Loussouarn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Désiré Audrain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Cassan went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jerome Debuire took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Désiré Audrain. Désiré Audrain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Gérardcourt's Alain Saint-Martin got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Steve Percheron fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gérardcourt's protests and gave Steve Percheron a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gérardcourt getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Steve Percheron hit a great ball. Mathias Cassan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Désiré Audrain having to make a save. Jerome Debuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Désiré Audrain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willy Cherifi to make the kick off. Alain Saint-Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Loussouarn having to interfere. In the 54th minute Yazid Amar suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Edmond Miquel charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmond Miquel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Vernaison got a freekick which was hit by Edmond Miquel. Alain Saint-Martin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Herbert Loussouarn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gérardcourt. After 60 minutes, Jerome Debuire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vernaison and the Gérardcourt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jerome Debuire hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alain Saint-Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Herbert Loussouarn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerome Debuire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th match minute, Gérardcourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdel Goulard to maneuver through the defense. Désiré Audrain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Cassan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerome Debuire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Désiré Audrain made a huge save. 83 minutes in the game, Mathias Cassan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Désiré Audrain having to interfere. Jerome Debuire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Désiré Audrain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gérardcourt's zone, Mathias Cassan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Désiré Audrain came out of the goal and Mathias Cassan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerome Debuire got free with Désiré Audrain in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
