Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flavian Demars started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Gaspard Sassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marillat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escaudain the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Marillat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspard Sassi to maneuver through the defense. Reynald Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes in the game, Thierry Chalopin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Robin Lestrade having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Escaudain got a freekick which was hit by Alphonse Ducoin. Flavian Demars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Lestrade having to interfere. Rudy Desse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thierry Chalopin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thierry Chalopin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Robin Lestrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rudy Desse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Desse in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul-Henri Gremy saved Marillat from getting behind. Robin Lestrade came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Marillat's Thierry Chalopin. But to his dismay, Thierry Chalopin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudy Desse was the one to do the kick off. Paul-Henri Gremy made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Theophile Ribot sent off a good shot on target. Paul-Henri Gremy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Desse in the 64th minute of play. Robin Lestrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavian Demars in the 66th minute of the match. Paul-Henri Gremy made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Reynald Murcia sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Thierry Chalopin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marillat's supporters rose to their feet, but Thierry Chalopin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Lestrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynald Murcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Paul-Henri Gremy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marillat getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gaspard Sassi hit a great ball. Reynald Murcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Escaudain's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Chalopin came free, but Robin Lestrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynald Murcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Paul-Henri Gremy made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Escaudain players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marillat.
