When Mathis Kuster came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nohanent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathis Kuster couldn't finish the play. Jean-Philippe Gonon's late challenge caught a Châtenay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Philippe Gonon helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Châtenay booed when Nohanent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Philippe Gonon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Larche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Brian Le Comte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Nohanent got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Monot. Franklin Larche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Le Comte having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Châtenay's Franklin Larche slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brian Le Comte. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Samuel Monot had to leave the field with a concussion. When Lucas Malosse fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Châtenay's protests and gave Lucas Malosse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Châtenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Malosse to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franklin Larche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hubert Molinari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Lucas Malosse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Jean-Francois Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nohanent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Francois Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrien Planque's late challenge caught a Châtenay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Nohanent:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Châtenay:s goal. Lucas Marandon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubert Molinari during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nohanent's Hubert Molinari got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Etienne Requena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Francois Jacob in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Leopold Barrois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Le Comte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Mathis Kuster managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nohanent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathis Kuster was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Etienne Requena made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jean-Francois Jacob sent off a good shot on target. Jean-Francois Jacob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Etienne Requena made a huge save. After 91 minutes of play Châtenay's Lucas Malosse was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Nohanent's Jean-Francois Jacob ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Etienne Requena. Etienne Requena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Leopold Barrois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
