After having played for 6 minutes, Leopold Barrois managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Châtenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopold Barrois was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Honore Lavielle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopold Barrois could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Thibaut Gustin made a huge save. When Lucas Marandon came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Châtenay fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franklin Larche to make the kick off. The supporters of Quintal booed when Châtenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Marandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ghislain Foury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Etienne Requena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Leopold Barrois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Renaud Ravard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Etienne Requena having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Malosse during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Malosse kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Honore Lavielle made a precise shot to the right of Etienne Requena. Châtenay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 90 minutes into the match, Châtenay's Leopold Barrois sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Gustin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Franklin Larche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Gustin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renaud Ravard in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Etienne Requena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honore Lavielle got free with Etienne Requena in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Etienne Requena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The Quintal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Châtenay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
