Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salim Milani took the kick off in the first half of the match. Borghéas's Valentin Fouet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Marret in the 4th minute of play. Eddy Marret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Fouet having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borghéas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Victor Szymanski placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Emile Bize fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borghéas's protests and gave Emile Bize a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gairaut booed when Borghéas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emile Bize didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eddy Marret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Fouet having to interfere. In the 25th minute Eddy Marret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Fouet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Fouet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddy Marret showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. When Marcel Bourdon fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gairaut's protests and gave Marcel Bourdon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Marcel Bourdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Emile Bize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Borghéas's zone, Mehdi Fouchard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Fouet came out of the goal and Mehdi Fouchard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehdi Fouchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddy Marret to strike the kick off in the second half. Salim Milani had several of the Gairaut's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Freddy Montagnier as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Gairaut's Mehdi Fouchard in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borghéas's goalie prevented a goal. Victor Szymanski's late challenge caught a Borghéas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Szymanski helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Szymanski hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Borghéas's goalkeeper Valentin Fouet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehdi Fouchard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Fouet having to make a save. Freddy Montagnier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eliott Poirier. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehdi Fouchard in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentin Fouet saved Borghéas from getting behind. After having played for 89 minutes, Felix Moles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borghéas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Moles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salim Milani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Montagnier having to interfere.
