Edmond Esquirol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestin Prouteau in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Peyrade booed when Eysines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Canovas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baptiste Lecerf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Celestin Prouteau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peyrade's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestin Prouteau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmond Esquirol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eysines's Baptiste Lecerf got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yves Lecointre charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yves Lecointre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Eysines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Lecointre to maneuver through the defense. Baptiste Lecerf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaac Le Roch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel Gaborieau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52nd play minutes Francis Courbon shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Edmond Esquirol and just under the crossbar into goal. Isaac Le Roch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Lecerf in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Eysines's goalkeeper Edmond Esquirol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francis Courbon. After a defensive mix-up in Eysines's zone, Francis Courbon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Esquirol came out of the goal and Francis Courbon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the game, Matheo Lotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eysines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peyrade the free kick. In the 65th minute, Matheo Lotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes in the game Mohamed Gendreau after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Edmond Esquirol. A very good opportunity. 69 minutes into the game, Baptiste Lecerf cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isaac Le Roch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Gaborieau in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Le Roch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Gaborieau in the 79th minute of play forced Peyrade's goalkeeper Isaac Le Roch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eysines fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Eysines's Baptiste Lecerf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th match minute, Peyrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thierry Willot to maneuver through the defense. Eysines were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Peyrade's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludovic Nogues took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Eugene Chazeau managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Celestin Prouteau kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
